TV Program Looking For Returning OFWs After Years Abroad

KAPUSO MO, JESSICA SOHO is one of GMA Network Inc.’s top-rating primetime News and Public Affairs programs. It is hosted by one of the country’s most trusted broadcast journalists, Ms. Jessica Soho. The program features socio-cultural stories, current issues, and special events locally and sometimes abroad. It also provides in-depth analysis of some of the Philippine’s most pressing issues and airs every Saturday at 8:15 in the evening.

We are currently producing a segment about “Online Parenting” airing this Saturday, May 14, 2011. In this regard, we're looking for OFWs who use online communication to connect and guide their children. Mainly, we’re looking for case studies such as the following:

1. OFW parent and child who are communicating online but haven’t seen each other in person for so many years and the parent is scheduled to come back home next week to see his/her family left here in the Philippines.

We will be documenting their get together. From the time the Parent landed in the Airport up to the time they’ve been together (family). Interviews and some necessary footage to support the story about them will be taken.

2. OFW child who rebels or has taken negatively his/ her parents leaving him for the need to work abroad.
