Job Order Inquiry

I was actually hired by a company in Bahrain last October 2012 under an agency. I was informed by the employer that my visa was approved last January 3, 2013. I found out that the actual approval of my visa was last December 2, 2012, a 1 month delay in forwarding the information.

Now, I have my visa, the next problem is, my job order has expired.

I would like to know if how long will it take to reprocess the job order since I already paid the fees that the agecy requires. And is there any posibility that I cannot pursue my work abroad? I did try to contact the employer to get details but the agency got mad. Does the agency has the power to stop my work, eventhough I have the visa and all I need is the job order?

Please help me regarding this matter. I am really confused. I hope to get an advise from you.

POEA Job Order
by: Anonymous

Got the same problem here. I had my passport stamped with visa for Saudi. I went to my agency and paid the prescribed POEA fees(2500). My employer was told by the agency that I will be deployed Feb 25. But upon confirmation, my work has no standing job order. The agency told me that it will take 1-2 weeks to process. I don't know how they do it. Looking at the site of POEA, it states only 5 days maximum for job order process. I don't know if that is based on off peak season.
